Smartphone maker Oppo India is constantly working on improving its smartphones. Now the company has made a big announcement regarding its recently launched smartphone Oppo Reno6 series. The company has announced that it has tested 5G standalone (SA) networks for the Reno6 series under the 5G SA network environment provided by Jio in its 5G lab. Regarding this, the company has said that the Oppo Reno6 series has got very positive results.

Taslim Arif, VP and R&D Head, Oppo India said, “Our 5G standalone network trial for the Reno6 series with Jio is part of our deep research into the 5G era, which provides a better user experience.

Arif said, “The successful verification of Reno6 series devices on Jio’s 5G SA network is a testimony to our commitment as a company to bring state-of-the-art technology to our customers. Reno6 Pro 11 supports 5G bands. In which Reno6 13 is equipped with 5G band.

Oppo India trials 5G with Jio

The company said that this will accelerate the growth of the 5G device ecosystem in India. So that users can experience 5G in India and even in other parts of the world. The SA architecture is one of the mainstream architectures for future 5G networks. The company is actively laying the foundation for 5G SA network trials through its 5G Innovation Lab in India.

With these things, OPPO wants to ensure that every adapter gets a true 5G device experience, once commercialized. According to a report released by Lipstick, a leading German research institute, Oppo is among the ten largest companies in terms of the number of 5G patent families announced in 2021.
